Top Meadow Activities

We were back in top meadow garden today in ten acres and it was a beautiful sunny day! We had a picnic mat out, some tasty snacks and we read a beautiful book together in the sunshine. There was lots of woodland play and adventures and the older kids managed to collect 2 heavy bags of litter too. Meanwhile fleipe was hard at work turning over soil ready for planting up the garden and collecting tufts of grass for a hibernaculum.

The volunteers were back out there again this week working on the river bank and restoring the view. Its hard work with so much overgrowth and rubbish to fight through but they are getting there slowly but surely!
