Sustainable Life are pleased to announce they have received funding from the WMCA via the Heart of England Community Foundation.

This is the continuation of thier 2022 Access to Ten Acres project

Below are the following confirmed activities we have lined up for 2023.

2023 WMCA Funded Activities:

Weekly Volunteering meet up in Middle Meadow:
Every WEDNESDAY and FRIDAY @ 10am to 2pm

Children’s Stories in Middle Meadow:
MONDAY 3rd APRIL 2023 @ 10:30am and 12pm

Family Friendly Survival Camp meet up at Cartland Rd:
FRIDAY 7th APRIL 2023 @ 10am to 2pm

Family Friendly Foraging Walk meet up at Cartland Rd:
TUESDAY 11th APRIL 2023 @ 1pm

DOGGO Hangout meet up in Middle Meadow:
THURSDAY 13th APRIL 2023 @ 12pm

River Analysis with Harry Gray meet up at Cartland Rd:
11th FEB, 4th MAR, 1st APRIL 2023 @ 11am to 2pm

2022 WMCA Funded Activities:

Stories For Children

On the 9th and 18th July 2022 at 1:30PM FREE stories for children will be held in Top Meadow Garden.

Free Bat Walks

Throughout July we will be hosting a series of 5 bat walks around ten acres on differing days at 9pm to capture different light levels across the month and try to discover what bat species live on Ten Acres.

Free Foraging Walks

Free foraging walks around Ten Acres on 16th July, 4th August & 14th August @10AM – Meet up Meet up at the Cartland Road woodland entrance.

Ten Acres Plum Festival

Ten Acres Plum Festival 27th August @ 11Am to 2pm – Location in Middle Meadow at the Dogpool end.
