River Fly Monitoring with Harry Gray

Harry Gray, our local river ecologist has been out with volunteers today checking out the health of the River Rea by monitoring the insect species living in it. The team were able to monitor Cased Caddisfly, Mayfly, Stoneflies and Freshwater Shrimp on the site at Willow Bridge. The 3 month survey for this can be found here:

This is a long term survey task and more river health days are scheduled in with Harry in the coming months. We can also now add these species for sure on our flora & fauna page!
