First River Litter Pick of 2022

Today, thanks to funding by the Selly Oak NNS fund we were on site in Ten Acres working our way down the River Rea (starting from the Bourn intersection). We litter picked the river and its immediate banks and managed to gather enough litter for 4 cartloads (plus one very large pipe).

We still have loads of river left to do though so if you are interested in helping out please pop along to our volunteering sessions every Tuesday 10-2. 🙂
