Path Clearance

Today we went back to the woodland pathway to clear some of the dangerous overhanging willow crushing the sloe thicket tunnel and other fallen willows obstructing the pathway. In addition we started some preliminary balsam bashing to keep it at bay from this area.

The volunteers worked really hard all day to fix the fallen willow and clear the pathway underneath. Thanks to the willow removal above, the pathway here is now getting much more light and thus will dry out a little more as well.
