Conservation Work and an Autumn Walk 29 & 30 /10/20

Thursday was a very quiet day, so we enjoyed an autumn walk looking at the leaves and colours of the woodland and stomping in muddy puddles before visiting basecamp and enjoying toasted marshmallows and a bacon sarnie.

Friday was much busier, with lots of volunteers putting in some serious hard work around the site and clearing more access to the woodland.

We were also very pleased to note that BCC had popped by to sort out the entrance we had asked for help with. They cleared some bramble away from the pathway entrance to widen the space and allow the public to see the pathway better and hopefully some people will now discover this area for the first time thanks to this work!
