Bird Survey May 2022

As part of the WMCA funding this year we were able to get an official bird survey from the Birmingham Wildlife Trust across the Ten Acres site to gather a ‘snapshot’ of wildlife this year.

Already we are seeing a big improvement on species diversity on the site since we first began management in 2019/2020.

There are a few species still lost from the original records in years of neglect the site suffered but we are optimistic this is a good positive step forward for species diversity on the site and we are excited to see what pops up again in a years time from now when we will be doing a follow up survey!
